Who we are

The team includes Ontario real estate professionals, education researchers, and curriculum reviewers who have collectively gone through the Humber Real Estate program, sat the RECO exams, and helped tens of thousands of candidates prepare. Editorial decisions are made by a small staff of researchers focused on accuracy, clarity, and regulatory currency. Bylines are credited to the team rather than individuals because every guide passes through multiple reviewers before publication.

Source standards

Every fact about fees, timelines, and regulatory rules is sourced from primary documents: TRESA and its regulations, the Real Estate Council of Ontario's published rules and fee schedules, Humber Polytechnic's program documentation, and the Ontario Regulator's enforcement decisions. Where a figure changes (e.g., RECO renewal fees, Humber tuition), we note the year and update the article on a rolling basis. We do not rely on second-hand summaries when a primary source is available.

Review cadence

Each article carries a "Last reviewed" date in the byline. We re-verify regulatory and fee content at least every six months, and immediately after any RECO bulletin, TRESA amendment, or Humber program change.
